Lower Trecott Farm is situated in the heart of rural Devon, with Dartmoor just a few miles to the south and half a mile from the picturesque and historic village of Sampford Courtenay, is an ideal place from which to explore this most glorious part of the country.

North Tawton, with its grocers, post office, chemist, butcher, fish and chips, hairdressers, pubs etc, is just 2 miles to the east.

Okehampton, with its friendly shops, pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities is 5 miles to the west.

The cathedral city of Exeter is 20 miles to the east and offers wider shopping and leisure facilities.

Directions

From Exeter
Take the A30 to the Whiddon Down/Merrymeet junction. Exit left onto the A382, turning right at the junction after the petrol station/services onto the A3124, signposted Winkleigh and Torrington. Follow this road to de Bathe Cross at North Tawton, turning left onto the A3072.

Turn right at the next junction, still the A3072, signposted Winkleigh. The Sampford Courtenay village sign appears soon after the 40mph sign. Turn left onto a very narrow lane immediately after the village sign and the 30mph limit, signposted Trecott. *Lower Trecott Farm is 1/4 mile on the right, after West Trecott Farm (also a B&B) and Middle Trecott.

From Okehampton
Take the Crediton Road, B3215, to Belstone Corner (approx 4 miles). Turn left, signposted Sampford Courtenay. After 1½ miles, turn right at the New Inn, A3072, and first right, 100+ yards, signposted Trecott. Then proceed as from * above.
